About the NISM V-C exam
The NISM Series V-C: Mutual Fund Distributors (Level 2) Certification Examination is the advanced, voluntary level for distributors who already hold V-A. It goes deeper into investment theory and portfolio construction, fund categories including FoFs, ETFs, REITs and InvITs, valuation and accounting of scheme portfolios, taxation, scheme evaluation and the ethics of selling.
The exam has 75 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks — 50 questions of 1 mark and 25 questions of 2 marks — a duration of 2 hours, and a passing score of 60 marks. It carries negative marking of 25% of the marks assigned to a question. ScoreSetu's mock papers are 75 questions long to match; every question is scored equally here, so treat the 60% line as your target.
