Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ScoreSetu collects, uses and protects your information when you use scoresetu.in.

1. Information we collect

Account details you provide — name, email address and/or mobile number — and usage data such as your practice attempts, exam scores and progress. When you sign in, we also record the device and browser you used and the network your connection came from, as described in Section 5. We do not store your card or UPI details.

2. How we use it

To create and secure your account, provide the Service, track your progress, process payments, and send service-related communication.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Your payment information is handled directly by Razorpay under their own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliant systems. We only receive confirmation of payment status.

4. Cookies & advertising

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. When you complete a purchase, we use Google's “enhanced conversions” feature: your email address is hashed (irreversibly encoded using SHA-256) in your browser before it is sent to Google, so that Google can match the purchase to an ad interaction without receiving your email in plain text. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Sign-in records & content licence

Each time you sign in, we record the type of device and browser you used, the network your connection came from, and the date. We store only the network — the first three parts of an IPv4 address, for example 203.0.113.x — and never your full IP address, so we can tell one connection apart from another without holding a precise location for you.

We keep these records for two reasons. They let us and you identify a sign-in you do not recognise. And because access to paid course material is licensed to one person, they help us tell an account being used by its owner from one being shared or resold. For the same reason, practice questions and mock exams shown to a signed-in customer display that customer's own email address or mobile number, so paid material can be traced if it is redistributed.

We do not use these records for advertising and we do not share them with third parties. They are deleted when your account is deleted.

6. Data sharing

We share data only with service providers necessary to run the Service and where required by law. These include our payment gateway (Razorpay), our SMS provider (for OTP), our email provider (for transactional email), and Google Ads (a hashed identifier for advertising measurement, as described in Section 4). You can control ad personalisation in your Google Ad settings.

7. Security & retention

We take reasonable measures to protect your data and retain it for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data by emailing us.
